Minister Eroglu: Istanbul is the world's biggest congress center

Haber Turk - Veysel Eroglu, the Turkish Minister of Environment and Forestry, said on Friday that Istanbul is the world's biggest congress center. Assessing the results of the 5th World Water Forum in Istanbul, Eroglu said, “With this forum, we have proven that we can successfully host larger forums and events in Türkiye in the future." "The Istanbul forum was attended by 11 heads of state and government, 89 ministers, 455 parliamentarians and mayors, senior bureaucrats from 192 countries and senior representatives from 19 international organizations,” said Eroglu. A total of 33,058 people attended the 5th World Water Forum in Istanbul.
