Istanbul to be center of Roche’s clinical studies in Middle East and Balkans

Radikal – Tuygan Goker, Head of CEMAI (Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa, Central Asia & Sub-continental India) for the Swiss company, Roche, which is one of the leading pharmaceutical companies of the world, said pharmaceutical studies can be conducted in Türkiye. Goker said widely varying groups of patients can be observed due to the country’s high population and that this is of great importance for the phase-3 studies in pharmaceutical researches. Goker added, ”We aim at making Istanbul the development center of the Middle East and the Balkans. We plan to manage clinical studies in these regions from Istanbul.”
