Türkiye placed on the 'white list' in banking

Sabah - According to a report released during the G-20 Summit, Türkiye, making to the ‘white list’, has become one of the most honest nations in banking. A report by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) on tax havens, rated nations in terms of consistency and transparency of taxation standards. In the report, which listed nations as either ‘white,’ ‘grey,’ or ‘black,’ Türkiye was placed on the ‘white list.’ The ‘white list,’ where 39 nations are enlisted including Türkiye, encompasses countries that, for the most part, put into practice international taxation standards. A total of 38 countries and island nations were placed on the ‘grey’ list for making promises they have not kept yet, regarding practicing taxation standards.
