“Turkish civil aviation growth above world average”

Dunya - Türkiye’s civil aviation market is growing at a rate beyond the world average, according to aircraft manufacturer Boeing’s Aldo Basile. The Commercial Airplanes Vice President of Sales for Europe, Basile said four Turkish air carriers had 57 aircrafts on order, worth a total of USD 5.3 billion.

“Owing to the success of the country’s airline companies, Türkiye’s civil aviation market is expanding at a rate that exceeds the world average,” said Basile, noting that the trend is likely to continue. “Boeing is confident that this trend will continue as we observe the eagerness of Türkiye’s aviation sector,” he added.
