Sabah – Turkey’s official investment promotion agency has secured the support of foreign investors in Turkey to share their experiences with their compatriots.
Executives of foreign companies operating in Turkey will accompany the Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Turkey (ISPAT) in planned roadshow events all over the world to present Turkey’s investment opportunities to foreign business circles.
The new strategy has already been tried in Japan with success, where a gathering of Japan’s leading businesspeople at ISPAT’s investment seminar in Tokyo listened to executives from The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ and Sumitomo Rubber Industries, two Japanese multinationals with significant investments in Turkey.
ISPAT will be staging roadshows in Singapore and Malaysia beginning this week, to be followed by events in Germany and the UK. The next round of roadshows will take place in November in the US where American tech companies will be briefed about investment opportunities in Turkey’s ICT sector and technology parks in the country.
