Renault’s Turkish-manufactured electric car to roll out in September

Star - French car maker Renault’s electric-powered Fluence Z.E. will enter serial production this summer in Renault’s Turkish plant in Bursa. The vehicle’s exports to world markets are slated to begin by September.

According to Oyak-Renault General Manager Tarik Tunalioglu, the preparations to manufacture the electric version of the Fluence are on track and the company’s Bursa plant will have the capacity to produce up to 30,000 electric cars per year. Renault’s Turkish plant has the capacity to produce 360,000 cars annually. Fluence Z.E. will be the first mass-produced electric vehicle in Türkiye.
