Sabah - Türkiye’s national air carrier Turkish Airlines (THY) flew 10 million travelers to their destinations between January and March of this year, increasing the number by 26 percent over a year earlier.
Air travelers choosing Türkiye’s flag carrier for international routes grew by 33 percent while the number of domestic fliers increased by 16 percent, according to a statement made by the company to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) of Borsa Istanbul.
Currently flying to 221 destinations worldwide, THY has the 5th largest flight network globally. As part of the expansion plans, the airline plans add 33 new destinations in 2013.
