Radikal – Turkey has pushed the button to play an active role in Iraq’s reconstruction period. The cooperation to be carried out with the country in various areas, particularly in the energy, environment, health and public works sectors, will reach its peak in October. With this cooperation, the two countries aim to increase their bilateral trade volume to USD 25 billion by 2012, up from the level of USD 5 billion in 2008, as well as to act according to the “strategic partnership” principle in the international arena.
