92 Turkish IT companies head off to CeBIT

Star- The IT world’s largest trade fair CeBIT 2011 will accommodate 92 high-tech companies from Türkiye displaying their products and services to the world. Türkiye is the partner country of this year’s fair, traditionally taking place in Hannover, Germany during the first few days of March. The official opening ceremony will take place on February 28, in the Hannover Congress Center, with the participation of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Germany’s Prime Minister Angela Merkel.

81 companies of the Turkish contingent are organized by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) and 11 others will participate on their own initiative in a bid to establish contacts and secure deals in this year’s fair themed "Computing in the Cloud".
