USD 6 billion of agricultural investments on the way

Haber Turk – The countries seeking agricultural areas for rent have recently started to knock on Türkiye’s door. The list of countries also includes Bahrain, one of the oil-rich countries in the Middle East. According to sources, Bahrain’s USD 500 million worth of lease agreement in Türkiye may reach up to USD 6 billion over the next few years. Under the terms of the agreement, Bahrain will grow products such as wheat, corn and rice in Türkiye, while in the coming years it will consider investing in new fields such as fruits and vegetables.
