Japan's HIS Travel and Türkiye's Sun Group signed an agreement brokered by the Investment Office to bring about Türkiye's first "Twin Luxury Train Tour" project. The project will start with the Cappadocia Express.
The agreement is the outcome of a long-standing effort by Türkiye's IPA to push forward cooperation between Japan-Türkiye, explained Burak Dağlıoğlu, President of the Investment Office, highlighting the possibilities for rail transit for tourists that the agreement is set to offer.
“This project will particularly open up much more opportunities for Japanese tourists coming to Türkiye. The Cappadocia Express will provide transportation by train," said HIS Türkiye General Manager H. Emre Özkan.
HIS Global is one of the top 10 travel operators in the world with headquarters in Japan and more than 500 offices in more than 70 countries.
Founded in 1993, Sun Group took part in various railway projects and high-speed train project.
