Turkish PM says economic recovery soon

AA – The Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Sunday that he hopes Türkiye will weather the global economic crisis by the end of this year. At a gathering of his ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party in the eastern Anatolian province of Malatya, Erdogan said economic figures have started to improve. "I believe the Turkish people will weather the problems by the end of this year," he stated at his party meeting. "The unemployment rate is going down. With the start of this fall in unemployment, we will be in a better position," said Erdogan.
