Turkish, US investment agencies sign MOI

Turkish and US national investment agencies have signed a Memorandum of Intent (MOI) to facilitate investments by serving as main contact points for domestic companies looking for investment opportunities in Türkiye and the USA.

The MOI between the Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Türkiye (ISPAT) and Invest in America, part of the US Department of Commerce, was signed by President Ilker Ayci on behalf of ISPAT and on the US side, by the Assistant Secretary of Commerce, Michael Camuñez.

“The high-tech intensive investments from US companies carry added value for our country,” said Ilker Ayci, following the signing ceremony, adding that Türkiye’s skilled labor force and cost effectiveness give foreign investors an edge over their competitors. The MOI will also help potential investors from both countries access investment and industry authorities in Türkiye and the USA.
