Alcatel-Lucent opens R&D center in Türkiye

   

The Financial - France-based telecommunications company Alcatel-Lucent has announced the opening of an R&D center in Istanbul dedicated to the development of network technologies. This center will directly contribute to the enhancement of the Alcatel-Lucent portfolio and will help support all Alcatel-Lucent customers around the world. Approved by Türkiye’s Ministry of Industry and Trade, Alcatel-Lucent’s new research lab in Türkiye also received support from the Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Türkiye (ISPAT). “ISPAT is pleased to have contributed to the realization of this strategic and high added-value investment in our country”, said ISPAT President Alpaslan Korkmaz, adding that Alcatel-Lucent’s investment will benefit from Türkiye’s experience and potential.

 

The Alcatel-Lucent R&D center in Türkiye will initially employ 62 engineers, with the total number of employees expected to reach 100 within a year.
